The route
Climb from the reservoir onto the ridge and along to Carn Pica and Waun Rydd, dropping to the crash memorial before returning.

- The memorial marks where a Wellington bomber hit the mountain in July 1942; wreckage remains scattered nearby.
- Carn Pica is a large cairn on the ridge edge and the best viewpoint.
