The route
The Usk Valley Walk follows the river north from Caerleon to Usk. Undulating with riverside and woodland sections.
Worth knowing
- The Usk Valley Walk runs 48 miles from Caerleon to Brecon.
- Both ends were Roman: Isca at Caerleon and Burrium at Usk.
- The bus between the towns makes the one-way walk straightforward.
