The route
Gentle enough throughout. Paths run along the Dee from the country park to the viaduct and on towards the aqueduct, returning through the meadows.
Worth knowing
- The Cefn Viaduct carries the railway over the Dee on nineteen arches and is often overshadowed by the aqueduct nearby.
- The park has rare breed farm animals and is popular with families.
- Links directly into the World Heritage Site around Pontcysyllte.
