The route
Tracks climb from the village past the quarry workings onto the summit of Garn Ganol, the highest of Yr Eifl. Retrace your steps.
Worth knowing
- The quarry was worked into the 1960s and the inclines and buildings are still there.
- From sea level to 564 metres in under two miles, so it is a proper climb.
- The view takes in the whole Llŷn, Anglesey and Eryri at once.
