The route
Tracks and paths link the pools from the road end. Loop between them and return; the ground is rough and pathless in places.
Worth knowing
- The Teifi rises here and runs seventy miles to the sea at Cardigan.
- Open moorland with no landmarks in cloud; compass essential.
- The road up from Ffair Rhos is steep and narrow.

Background
