The route
Follow the tracks up the valley past the reservoir to Blaen y Glyn, returning by the forest on the opposite side. Steady climbing.
Worth knowing
- The Taff Trail runs through here and gives a clear line up the valley.
- Blaen y Glyn falls are best after rain and are worth the extra half hour.
- The village has two good pubs and sits on the Mon and Brec canal.
