The route
Field paths cross the estate to the coast path and return inland by the valleys. Gentle with plenty of stiles.
Worth knowing
- The estate is farmed for wildlife, so the field margins and hedges are unusually rich.
- Newgale beach at the northern end is a two-mile sweep of sand and shingle.
- The coast path section gives the view over the whole bay.
