The route
The Severn Way follows the river north-east from Welshpool through the meadows towards Llandrinio. Flat with many stiles.
Worth knowing
- The floodplain here is genuinely flat and floods regularly; check conditions in winter.
- The Breidden hills dominate the view for the whole walk.
- Curlew and lapwing on the meadows in spring.
