The route
The route loops from the village through the woods and along the Tywi, with a climb onto the hillside above.
Worth knowing
- Rhandirmwyn means the place of the mineral ground; lead was mined here from Roman times.
- The Royal Oak in the village is one of the more remote good pubs in Wales.
- Combine with the RSPB reserve at Dinas a couple of miles north.
