The route
The coast path runs west from Stackpole Quay past Barafundle and Broad Haven South towards Bosherston and St Govan’s. Gentler than the north coast.
Worth knowing
- St Govan’s chapel is built into a cleft in the cliff and is reached by steps that supposedly cannot be counted twice the same.
- The range at Castlemartin closes the path west of Broad Haven when firing.
- Barafundle has no facilities at all; carry everything out.
