The route

The coast path rounds the peninsula from Dale to St Ann’s Head and continues north to Marloes. Undulating with long open stretches.

Worth knowing

Dale is reputedly the sunniest place in Wales, which is a low bar but they are proud of it.
St Ann’s Head lighthouse guards the entrance to the haven and the tankers pass close.
The Puffin Shuttle bus makes the one-way version easy in season.

Background

Henry Tudor landed at Mill Bay near St Ann’s Head in 1485 and marched from there to Bosworth.
