The route
Paths circle the lake and continue to the sea wall and the coast path towards Peterstone. Flat and surfaced.
Worth knowing
- The lake was created from old landfill and is now a genuine wildlife site.
- The sea wall path continues west across the Wentlooge Levels for as far as you like.
- Fully accessible on the park paths.

Background
The park was created in the 1990s on former tip and marshland at the mouth of the Rhymney.
