The route
The perimeter path circles the lake from the visitor centre. Level and surfaced throughout.
Worth knowing
- Fully accessible and one of the easiest complete circuits in the valleys.
- The park was created on opencast coal workings and the transformation is total.

The lake and its wildfowl, open parkland, and the Bannau to the north on a good day.
