The route
The Path climbs past Castell Dinas Brân and follows the terrace under the escarpment to World’s End. Rocky underfoot with scree above.
Worth knowing
- The terrace path under the cliffs is the best of it and runs for miles.
- Scree from the escarpment crosses the path in places and is loose.
- World’s End has a ford that is impassable after heavy rain.

Dinas Brân, the Eglwyseg cliffs and scree, and the Vale of Llangollen.
Background
Offa’s Dyke itself does not run along this section; the trail follows the best line rather than the earthwork.
