The route
Field paths and lanes loop out of the village and up the valley side for the view before returning along the river. Easy going with several stiles.
Worth knowing
- The churchyard is unusually large because it served a monastic community, and the size still shows.
- The valley here is exceptionally green and gentle, which is a change from most of this county.
- The National Eisteddfod has been held in the fields nearby more than once.
