The route
The coast path runs north-west from Aberdaron round Uwchmynydd and on to Porthor. Undulating clifftop with steep sections.
Worth knowing
- Aberdaron was the last stop for pilgrims crossing to Bardsey and the church sits right on the beach.
- The tidal race in Bardsey Sound is visible and audible from the clifftop.
- Choughs breed along this stretch and are usually about.
