The route
A track runs down the western shore and a path returns along the eastern side through the trees. Easy going with one short climb.
Worth knowing
- The obelisk at the northern end commemorates the man who gave the lake to Llanrwst for its water supply.
- Llyn Geirionydd over the ridge makes a longer figure of eight for those who want it.
- The road in from Trefriw is single track and steep.
