The route
Lanes and field paths run from the village to the lake shore and back through farmland. Gentle throughout.
Worth knowing
- The Bala Lake Railway runs along the southern shore on the old standard gauge formation.
- Llyn Tegid holds the gwyniad, a fish found nowhere else in the world, left behind after the ice age.
- Far quieter than the Bala end of the lake.
