The route
Paths cross the strip fields to the shore and return by lanes. Flat and short.
Worth knowing
- The strips were allocated to tenants of the Bishop of St Davids and the pattern survives in the field boundaries.
- Best appreciated from slightly above, where the strip pattern becomes obvious.
- The shore here is shingle and the swimming is poor.
