The route
Estate paths loop through the parkland and along the river, with a longer option onto the old railway line. Gentle throughout.
Worth knowing
- The house is a John Nash design of the 1790s and survived almost unaltered because the family made no money.
- The home farm is still worked and the walled gardens supply the café.
