The route
The route climbs from the houses up onto the moor towards Cadair Bronwen. return by the outward path; the ridge beyond is a long day.
Worth knowing
- The Berwyn is a Special Protection Area for upland birds; dogs on leads throughout.
- Deep peat higher up; boots and gaiters.
- The village makes a good base for the whole northern Berwyn.
