The route
Waymarked walking trails leave the centre and loop through the forest onto the moorland edge. Mostly good tracks.
Worth knowing
- Primarily a mountain bike centre, so keep an eye out on shared tracks.
- Black grouse lek on the moorland edge in spring; NRW runs guided viewing.
- Offa’s Dyke Path crosses the forest for a longer linear option.
