The route

Paths follow the Ithon from the station and loop back by lanes. Gentle throughout.

Worth knowing

  • Llanbister Road station is a request stop over a mile from the village it serves.
  • The line is one of the great scenic railways in Britain and the trains are infrequent.
  • Carry everything; there is nothing here at all.

Background
