The route
Lanes and field paths run up the valley from Llanbedr and return by the opposite side. Easy going with the mountains ahead throughout.
Worth knowing
- The valley road is single track and narrow; walking is more pleasant than driving it.
- Salem chapel nearby is the subject of one of the best known Welsh paintings.
- Llanbedr has a station on the Cambrian coast line.
