The route
Paths follow the Teifi from the town and return by lanes over the low hills. Gentle throughout with plenty of stiles.
Worth knowing
- St David’s College, founded in 1822, is the oldest degree-awarding institution in Wales after Oxford and Cambridge.
- The Teifi here holds sewin and salmon and the banks are fished; keep to the paths.
- Lampeter has an unusually good bookshop and café for a town this size.
