The route
The way up from the town through the woods with viewpoints over the valley, returning by a loop. Short but steep in places.
Worth knowing
- The Wynn family of Gwydir held the largest estate in north Wales, and Lady Mary was sixteen when the story attached to this path.
- A sculpture trail runs through the woods alongside the route.
- Gwydir Castle in the town is privately owned and opens on limited days.
