The route
The coast path follows the estuary cob from Malltraeth and enters the forest, reaching the beach at Llanddwyn. Level throughout.

- The Cefni estuary holds large numbers of waders and wildfowl.
- The cob was built in 1812 to reclaim the marsh behind it.
