The route
Follow the coast path along the estuary from the dock in either direction. Flat and surfaced.
Worth knowing
- The dock shipped copper and cotton from the mills up the Greenfield valley.
- The estuary is internationally important for waders; the falling tide is best.
- Combine with the Greenfield Valley heritage park inland.

Background
Greenfield Dock served the mills in the valley above, which used water power from St Winefride’s Well to smelt copper and spin cotton.
