Where it is

The circle shows the general area, not the exact start. Use the directions link below to get to the car park itself. Contours and paths shown are OpenTopoMap, drawn from OpenStreetMap data.

The route

Go up from the village to the ridge and follow Offa’s Dyke Path before dropping back by lanes. Steady climbing.

Worth knowing

  • One of the Denbighshire Community Miles routes, waymarked and well maintained.
  • The ridge here is quieter than the Moel Famau end.
  • The village pub is a good end point.

What you’ll see

The Vale of Clwyd, the Clwydian ridge, and Offa’s Dyke Path along the tops.

Background

The Community Miles walks were devised to link Denbighshire villages and encourage local walking rather than car-borne visits.
