The route
Forest tracks loop from the car parks, with Glyndŵr’s Way providing a through route. Good surfaces throughout.
Worth knowing
- Red squirrels are present and the forest is managed partly for them.
- Glyndŵr’s Way crosses the forest and is well waymarked where the tracks are confusing.
- Large forest; take the map and note your starting point.
