The route
The route climbs through the woodland from the village and return by the valley floor. Steep in the wooded section.
Worth knowing
- Boulders carried down by the 1925 flood are still visible in the fields below the village.
- The aluminium works that brought people here has gone; the hydro station remains.
- The woods are a national nature reserve for their lichens.
