The route
Trails and boardwalks loop through the reserve from the car park. Level throughout, wet underfoot away from the boardwalk.
Worth knowing
- Grazed by cattle and ponies as part of the management; give them room.
- Southern damselfly, a rarity, breeds in the flushes here.
- Wetter and rougher than Cors Bodeilio, and correspondingly quieter.

Reedbed and fen meadow, orchids, dragonflies and grazing cattle.
Background
The Anglesey Fens were drained and cut for peat for centuries; restoration since the 1990s has raised water levels again.
