The route
Surfaced trails loop round the lagoons to the hides and the estuary viewpoint. Level and fully accessible.
Worth knowing
- The whole reserve was created from material excavated for the A55 tunnel under the estuary in the 1980s.
- Winter brings large numbers of wildfowl and waders.
- The view of Conwy castle and the Carneddau from the reserve is remarkable for a site this accessible.
