The route
Climb from Conwy onto the ridge and follow it west towards Sychnant Pass, returning by the lower path or the lane. The North Wales Path runs along this ridge.
Worth knowing
- Castell Caer Seion on the summit is an Iron Age fort with an unusual smaller fort built inside it.
- Wild ponies graze the ridge and are used to walkers.
- Conwy itself is worth the time: the castle and the complete circuit of town walls are both open.
