The route
A track follows the river through the woods and loop back by field paths. Gentle with muddy sections.
Worth knowing
- The wild daffodils in Coed y Bwl in early March are the reason people come; they are gone by April.
- Parking is very limited and the lanes are narrow; go early.
- The Alun is a small chalk-fed stream, unusual for Wales.
