The route
Gentle enough throughout. Paths follow the river above and below the falls, with a loop through the woods and back by the lane. Short and easy.
Worth knowing
- Salmon leap the falls in autumn, most reliably after heavy rain in October and November.
- The National Coracle Centre by the bridge is small and genuinely interesting.
- The falls are busy in summer; early or late is better.
