The route
From the country park, paths and lanes lead south across the levels to the sea wall, returning by the reens. Flat throughout.
Worth knowing
- The Severn bridges dominate the view and are worth the walk out on their own.
- Reens are deep and steep-sided; keep dogs away from the edges.
- The castle grounds are free; the castle itself opens seasonally.
