The route
Follow the towpath south-east from the basin to Brynich Lock and the aqueduct. Flat and accessible.
Worth knowing
- The Brynich aqueduct carries the canal over the Usk on four arches and is best seen from the riverbank.
- Fully accessible along the towpath, which makes it usable in any weather.
- The Taff Trail follows the same line, so it can be extended a very long way.
