The route
A circuit, and the steep part comes first. Paths climb up behind the village onto the ridge and follow Offa’s Dyke Path before dropping back. Steady climbing.
Worth knowing
- Bodfari is where Offa’s Dyke Path leaves the Clwydian ridge and heads for the coast.
- The transmitter on Moel y Parc is a landmark for miles.
- The village has a holy well dedicated to St Deifer.
