The route
The coast path runs north-west from Moelfre past Lligwy and Dulas to Amlwch. Undulating with some rocky sections.
Worth knowing
- The Royal Charter went down here in 1859; the memorial is on the clifftop.
- Amlwch Port was built to ship copper from Parys Mountain and is remarkably narrow.
- The bus makes this workable one way.

Background
Amlwch Port handled the output of Parys Mountain when it was the largest copper mine in the world, and grew to be the second largest town in Wales.
