The route
Waymarked trails climb from the station through the ravine past the old quarry inclines and return by the forest. Steps throughout.
Worth knowing
- Arriving by steam train from Tywyn is much the best way to do this.
- The inclines carried slate down from Bryn Eglwys quarry and are steep and clear.
- Wet rock and steps; boots.
